Do you have a family member or co-worker who is planning to purchase a car or renovate their home but needs a loan? You can refer them to the benefits of being a member of NY TEAM FCU. The referral process is simple – just fill out the form below. After submitting the form, remember to follow up with your family member or co-worker and encourage them to open an account. You can submit up to three referrals using this form, and if you have more, you can submit a new form anytime.
The Credit Union allows you to refer your family members and co-workers who work for one of our many charters. (LIRR, MTA, SIRTOA, AMTRAK, AEROFLEX, and More) To learn more about eligibility, click here
To be eligible for the $25.00 reward, the new member must:
– Deposit $100.00 within two weeks of opening their account
– Make three monthly deposits of at least $100.00 each
– Open a share and draft account
The reward will be deposited after 90 days.

Disclosure: To participate in NY TEAM Federal Credit Union’s Refer-a-Family Member or Coworker (RAFC) Program, the Referrer must be a current credit union member, and the Referee must be eligible for membership and a new member with no existing accounts. When the Referee initiates a new membership (called a share account) with a new checking account and deposits at least $100 within two weeks of opening the account, as well as making a minimum of 3 monthly direct deposits of $100.00, both the Referrer and Referee will receive a $25 deposit in their share accounts after 90 days, provided that all requirements are met. The maximum number of rewards a Referrer can earn in a calendar year is 5, or $125. Please note that the RAFC program cannot be combined with other promotions or offers, and criteria may be subject to change.
